The Israeli embassy to Lithuania reports Hadas Wittenberg Silverstein arrived as the new Israeli ambassador to Lithuania three days ago. She worked as an Israeli diplomat earlier in Serbia, Costa Rica, Canada and Austria. Her deputy ambassador is Erez Golan, pictured left in the photograph above. On Monday afternoon, August 22, she presented her credentials to Neilas Tankevičius, the head of the State and Diplomatic Protocol Department at the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry.
