Vandals attacked the monument to one of the mass graves in the Pivonija Forest outside Ukmergė (Vilkomir) following a commemoration there on September 6. Local police say the desecration happened on September 6. The mass grave site has suffered vandalism including from four-wheel off-road vehicles before. Police said they will investigate fully the latest incident.
