Lithuanian PM and Presidential Candidate Would Consider Moving Embassy to Jerusalem

Lithuanian prime minister Saulius Skvernelis said moving the Lithuanian embassy to Jerusalem could strengthen ties with the United States and Israel.

“I wouldn’t see it as tragic if we returned to this issue and considered the possibility of moving our embassy to Jerusalem,” Skvernelis said at a discussion on foreign policy Tuesday in Vilnius, where he emphasized he spoke as a presidential candidate rather than prime minister.
